LATVIAN VOICES Christmas concert program 'SNOW'
The a cappella group Latvian Voices' Christmas program "SNIEGUMS" is both a wintry play on words and the singers' true intention to present the most beautiful musical performance to their listeners.
This year, the concert program will also include a freshly recorded Christmas album with the same title “SNIEGUMS”. The album was created in collaboration with producer Andrew Kessler from Los Angeles, and is the second recording project in the musicians' collaboration.
Latvian Voices' six-part chord and melody arrangements will reveal both meditative Advent hymns, "O Come Emmanuel", "See Amid the Winter's Snow", and traditional winter solstice songs in modern arrangements, "Ai, bātāgi ziemasvētki", "Pūti, pūti, ziemelīti", and world-famous holiday melodies "Sleigh Ride", "Winter Wonderland", as well as original songs created by the band members especially for this program, "Sniegu pūdēt", "Ziemas stāsts", "So Slow", etc.
